  22. DESCRIPTION
  23.     CompilAIBB is a collection of small files, called modules,
  24.     created with the AIBB software from Peter Lamonte Koop.
  25.  
  26.     AIBB (Amiga Intuition Based Benchmarks) enables you to :

  28.       1- Check the hardware and software setup of your Amiga :
  29.  
  30.         + processor kind : 68000, 68020, 68030, ...
  31.         + its frequency : 14 MHz, 33 MHz, ...
  32.         + possible presence of mathematics coprocessor
  33.         + specialized chipset identification : Agnus, Alice, ...
  34.         + possible presence of expansion boards
  35.         + Kickstart version, i.e. system version : 37.175, 40.63, ...
  36.         + system main libraries versions : exec.library,
  37.           graphics.library, ...
  38.         + Kickstart locations : ROM or RAM
  39.         + ...

  41.       2- Evaluate the computing performance of your Amiga and
  42.          compare it to others :
  43.  
  44.         + AIBB includes 20 different tests (integer, graphics,
  45.           floating point, memory access, ...)
  46.         + AIBB achieves comparisons by storing and retrieving the
  47.           results of these tests in a very small file : a module.
  48.  
  49.     This is the 1.0 version of CompilAIBB, constituted of modules
  50.     made with 6.0 or newer versions of AIBB. It features lots of
  51.     68030 accelerator boards for the A1200 and the A2000, 68040
  52.     accelerators boards for the A2000 and the A4000 and a 68060
  53.     prototype board for the A4000. Some boards are represented twice
  54.     or more with small differences such as the Kickstart version,
  55.     Kickstart location, cache status, etc.

  57.     A big AmigaGuide document is provided with an inventory of
  58.     these modules and instructions to provide the author with new
  59.     ones.

  61. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
  62.     The AIBB modules require the 6.0 or newer version of AIBB.
  63.  
  64.     The AmigaGuide documentation  require either the Amigaguide
  65.     software included in the 3.0 (V39) or 3.1 (V40) Amiga system
  66.     or the standalone Amigaguide V34 package.

  68.     Maximum efficiency can be obtained from the documentation if your
  69.     humour board is plugged in...

  92.          asked for Fish floppies ($3, 15 FF, etc) or CDs ($30, 200
